Courtney
Manager
A Pittsburgh native with over 20 years of experience working with the public. She has her degree in History and over 10 years of experience working in corporate relocation and with international expats. Covid forced a career change and she couldn’t be happier. She enjoys getting to know our regular clients and playing “mom/barista” to the salon staff. Her passion is being creative and traveling. When not in the salon, she’s either working in her yard, having a bonfire or attending a live music event.
Jess
Master Stylist
Grew up in the south hills and just recently moved closer to the city with her boyfriend. She graduated from South Hills Beauty Academy and loves being creative with her work and continuing to learn in her craft. She loves working on highlights, balayage, color and hair cutting and is always learning new techniques to work with! In her spare time you can find Jess spending time with friends and family or watching a good show!
Becca
Senior+ Stylist
Originally from Bethlehem PA, but came to Pittsburgh in May of 2020 and fell in love with the city. They started beauty school at the age of 14 and attended all through high school. They worked in salons while earning dual degrees from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Becca loves to have fun with hair and truly treats it like an art, finding joy in doing fantasy colors, shags, mullets, and all the other “weird” styles you can think of. Their love of art extends to their hobbies as well, in the form of sewing, knitting, painting, and many more crafts. When not at work they can be found laughing with their friends or bundled up for a good horror movie marathon.
Dayle
Senior+ Stylist
A native of Pittsburgh’s east end where she still resides with her daughter and collection of cats. Her favorite ways to spend time are out riding her horse or watching a Scandinavian suspense show while knitting. Her favorite styles are pixies and clipper cuts but she doesn’t shy away from a challenge. She has spent her post Covid years floating through her friends salons and enjoying all the different atmospheres, products, and being with different stylists. When not at the salon you can find her up the street at her shop Wildchild Stitches giving lessons or leading stitch.
RAINBOW
Senior+ Stylist / Visiting Artist
Was born and raised in South Alabama, and always knew she wanted a career in the hair industry. She graduated from the Aveda Institute in Orlando in 2015, and has traveled around the country working with leading industry stylists since then. When she’s not doing hair, you can find her poolside, baking, helping out at her church or hanging with her husband. She loves creating lived-in looks and low maintenance styles. Rainbow especially enjoys crafting fantasy hair colors, mullets and braids. As a traveling stylist, she’s only at Tula while her husband finishes school, so catch her while you can!
Bella
Stylist
Grew up in New Castle PA, but knew she wanted more. She moved to Pittsburgh in September of 2022 and fell in love with the city. Bella always knew she wanted to be in the beauty industry. When she was little she would always do makeup and hair on anything she could whether that was her dolls, her baby brother, or her mom! She recently graduated from Bella Capelli and loves makeup, skincare, lived in blondes, and men’s cuts! When she’s not in the salon she is either with her fur babies or on an adventure with her boyfriend. Bella loves to explore the city, go camping, travel, and be with family. She feels her mission is to bring out confidence in others through their natural beauty and show how important it is to take time for yourself.
Becky
Owner
A Pittsburgh native with over a decade of design experience. She graduated from Penn State University’s Schreyer Honors College with a B.A. in Media Design and an Honors in Business. This collegiate experience places her in a unique position to offer intelligent and creative solutions during a consultation. As a cosmetologist, Becky has fallen in love with the combination of artistry and customer service that the beauty industry demands. Above all, she believes in empowering women by showing them how to enhance their natural beauty. When Becky isn’t behind the chair, she can probably be found working on her cape-cod style house, cuddling with her toddler, reading a new fiction novel, or having a zany adventure.
